B.V. Doshi
Balkrishna Vithaldas Doshi, also known as B.V. Doshi, is a renowned Indian architect who was awarded the prestigious Pritzker Architecture Prize in 2018. Born in Pune in 1927, Doshi studied architecture in Mumbai and later worked with the legendary architect Le Corbusier in Paris. He returned to India in the 1950s and established his own firm, Vastu-Shilpa Consultants, in Ahmedabad.
